Our Lodges

Our Lodges

Able to sleep four - ideally a two-plus-two, each lodge sits on a slope, facing the river. With steps down to two of them and a sloped gravel path down to the other, each has two double/twin bedrooms, two shower/WC rooms (one en-suite in the smaller bedroom), fully-equipped kitchens with dishwasher, WiFi, large-screen TV and stunning glass doors providing you with ever-changing seasonal views to the South across the river Tees. And right outside, there's the riverside path for that first thing in the morning, or last thing at night, walk with the dog.

To the side of each lodge is a discreet hot tub, placed to keep you private from your neighbours, where you can lie back and stare at the stars in the dark rural skies, or watch the river glide by.

And behind each lodge there's parking for two cars, just a few metres walk from the decking.

Late Winter

Here's the lodges on a sunny late-February day with the shadows long, the light glinting off the river, the grass roofs and fields dormant and the trees bare of leaves. In many ways, it's a beautiful time of the year as the views are unrestricted and larger and, if you look closely, you can see the start of buds on the trees. Spring is on its way.
